What if any differences between the 205 gear and the D20?

Will they interchange? I don't have either at the shop so I can't compare...
but I do need a 205 speedo gear assembly to plug the hole in my 205 t-case.

Well I've always used the same gear - swapped amongst the six different transfer cases four which blew up over the decades!!

Did I keep one?? :(

Anybody have the gear assembly they would like to sell? Thanks

So I should be able to find a speedometer cable assbly from a T-bird and it will fit my 205? This would be nice as I could then run VSS for my Baumann also.

Did you just grab the entire cable assbly from the dash to the speedo output on the t-bird and it slide right in...nice!

Asking because I'll need extra length due to my 4r70 and gear doubler...but maybe an early Ford pickup like EFIGuy mentioned to me yesterday...

That looks like a VSS only, no cable hookup.
If all you are after is a VSS (without cable) lots of Fords (cars and trucks) ran it like that. The sensor is the same as far as I can tell, maybe needs a different gear.
