I should add that most of those were made up on the spot while writing the response, and don't necessarily reflect actual conversations with persons of the Wild Horse customer persuasion.

Though they do seem to be based on at least semi-actual experiences since I started working in the 4wd industry. Just not necessarily Bronco-specific.
And while, perhaps embellished just a tiny bit ;) with some imaginative adjectives (Whatever that means), it could happen.
The bit at #8 about the ground was from a Jeep GC forum issue last week.

In other words, no customers, alive or dead, or cute furry animals were harmed in the making of this story.
But it could happen.

howa bout just cutting the bellhousing up to the breather? The thing is iron and strong, theres no reason to make it a perfect circle.

What breather on the bell housing are you talking about? I held the bell housing up to the adapter plate and NV3550, marked with a pen for the shift rail housing nub and ground the opening with a die grinder. It doesn't have to be the best looking hole, just enough for the nub to fit through. You can do this!

I marked with a red circle where you'll be grinding to make a hole on your bell housing. My transmission is bolted up and I'm doing a front and rear gear swap otherwise I'd drop my tranny so you can see exactly where I used a die-grinder.
