Back from Chicago morning of 9/18, pack, load up, hit the road

May have made a difference but to late now. Should have probably waited to add truss to back of the housing to see if the welds stopped the leaking. Doesn't leak much but still aggrevating to see that little spot on the garage floor.

Ok, checked a few things off my prep list. I have a quick trip planned on the wine trail over Labor Day. Then I have one weekend left to get packed up. I'm heading to Tx. early morning the 16th. Then headed to Hot Springs the 20th.

What you really been doing I don't remember any truss????

Added truss while I had the housing out to welding up the back cover. Should have made sure the welding sealed the leak before adding the truss. Really didn't think it would leak. I left it set for a couple of days after welding the rear cover with water in it and had no leaks. Heated up gear oil and the pressure in the housing makes a difference. I didn't want to remove housing again to fit the truss and weld it. Now I wish I had.

OCBR 2017 - We Ready - ALMOST TIME!!

Almost ready. Got some flare on and a little bling to boot. Now it's time to hammer on details, whatever they are.

Two come to mind. Cb antenna. And my right front hub won't stay locked... it kicks out and I don't understand how that happens. It's an oem ford locker.

I have a business trip to LV 2 weeks after OCBR. Hate going out there. Work in a casino every day. LV is the last place I want to go.
