And I hope with all the "I'm not gonna make it's" I've seen, there's still a good turnout. Although, with fewer show ups, my chances in the raffle get better, right?

I am scrambling too now to be ready. I had the old engine in Burnie rebuilt and finally got it in last week. Fired it up the other night and something is wrong with the flexplate (I think). Easier to drop drive train, transfer case and tranny than taking out that motor again. It's still going to be a pain and take up my entire weekend. I'll make it.

What's it doing? I had a dust cover rubbing the studs one time... scared the crap out of me.

That's what this one is doing but I'm concerned it's more than that. I have to convince myself I have the right flexplate on there. It may even be hitting my starter. I have the atlas and a four link so a bunch of stuff has to come off. The biggest pain is going to be the cross over exhaust because those bolts off the headers are almost impossible to reach now.

have you pulled the dust cover off to look. Mine had laid in the shop floor long enough to be slightly bent which was the cause of the noise. I found a very small shiny spot where it was making contact. I'd hate for you to have to pull all that stuff apart...

It's pretty loud. I do have the dust cover off and can see where the drag is. It isn't bent. I don't know, something just tells me I need to go deep. I will know tonight whether I wasted my time or saved a disaster.

Prep day 2. Here we go

Everyone have a great day

Starting mine by changing an ac compressor of the wife's vehicle, then I'll do fluids on the bronco. And at some point, it seems like Nyles wanted something I've got. If I can figure it out, I'll try to load it up so I don't forget it. (He's probably too busy working on his to see this before I leave next week.)

Well, why'd you go to Bristol??? Lol.

My ac work is going to wait a few weeks. Gonna replace everything. Even the evaporator. Got moisture causing issues with electronics in the dash anyway.
