Ocbr Pre-run & Important Info

Okay folks - I'm going to try to get some pics up from the OCBR Pre-Run
this wkend. They've had a lot of rain at the park, when considering what trail rating you want to run at OCBR - please add at least a + to the number
or maybe a little more. A strap is great, winches on some maybe more necessary than before. Our group of 7 trucks escaped with only 1 broken driveshaft and a little body damage here & there....now for pics, %)

I'm finally home now. Bubba and I went to check out the Bronco of Arron's.%) Huge disappointment. Had a great time this weekend as usual. More body damage than I'd like, but it was worth it. Gordon, Scott, Bubba and I hit some 5's this morning and and they defintely need a + added and then some. I'll get some pics of the damage later.

....I'm hoping that JWMc had video that he can get up
here in the next few days.

We got a lot of video....some of it is pretty good...still on the learning curve with it mounted like it was, we had it zoomed in too much which takes away from a lot of it. As soon as I can recruit some help to edit the good portions I'll get it posted (I'm lacking in that area). We had a great time. Larry also took several pictures that he said he would email me..here are 3 that he sent earlier, should have more tomorrow. This was Larry's first ever wheeling in rocks and he had a blast, thanks to all you guys for making him feel so welcome.

No David - not from the future - somehow the date on my camera
got changed to read the day first then the month. Should be 07/12/08

need at least a + on the end of 2s & 3s but aren't too bad.
wash out/ruts mostly.

I would say the 2's were more like 2.4's to 2.6's, the 3's were more like 3.5's to 3.7's, compared to last year. If you have done 2's and 3's before here you will love them as they are now, just a bit more technical and challenging but still passable and a whole lot of fun.

The OCBR trail guides take great pride in seeing that everyone in their group has fun and is not put into a position of being uncomfortable, or at unknown risk, and no man is ever left behind.

And I can assure everyone, with the number of trails and their conditions, there is plenty of fun for everyone out there and that this years OCBR will be the best one yet
