That grey box is a weather tight electrical box, you can source them at most electrical supply stores. I have no idea what is inside his... maybe a flux capacitor... I see 88 MPH in his future...Bwahahahahah

Nice work, what is the big grey electrical box housing inside of it? Where did you get it? Gives me and Idea. Keep up the good work.

It's just a run of the mill electrical junction box from home depot. I have 7 relays inside of the box, makes it a nice way to put them all in one place and weatherproof them.

Well, it's official. My Bronco is no longer uncut. I took out the jig saw and body saw and went to town on the front fenders and passenger quarter panel. Overall fit and look ended up being pretty good. Here's the result:

Getting very close to getting this on the road. Just have to cut the driver's side quarter panel, repair my e-brake bracket (cracked), and I'm going to driving this bad boy!!! I can take it around the block anyway, still need to get it aligned and get the front tires balanced.

Any updates?
And a friendly suggestion, upgrade to a 4x4x2 box & saginaw pump. Due to the increased strain of the larger tires, your thompson pump will probably give out. It was a great upgrade for me. Looks great so far. Keep up the good work & enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Well, after a year plus of wrenching on this off and on, she's on the road again! Still have a lot of things to do, but that didn't stop me from taking it out tonight. Needless to say, no top or doors isn't exactly ideal for January weather. I still had a huge grin on my face the whole time. My fiancee didn't seem to enjoy it quite as much, but she was happy that I was happy!

This was the first time I've driven the rig since my test drive when I bought it. All in all, it went pretty smoothly. I putted around town for about half an hour and it did well. Lots of fun to drive, but I can't wait to get rid of the stick and convert to an auto.

Yeah, I have a feeling you might be right about this. I rebuilt my stock box and it seems to be doing OK for now amazingly enough. It was a real pain the ass to rebuild and I wasn't too happy with how it turned out, but apparently it is OK. We'll see how long everything holds together.
