About 6 weeks ago, I took a perfectly good 68 Bronco out of service. I sold the carbed 289 to a Bronco brother in need. This was the catalyst I needed to get on with my upgrades. I installed a 5.0 Cobra OMC marine engine that was donated to me by a close friend. Added Explorer intake and front serpentine, modded my own 92 T-bird wiring harness and used the T-bird ECM. While I had it down, I had my detroit locker installed (Thanks Bill) Today, I finally got my EFI finished to the point I could drive it. I was concerned that a "boat" motor might not be suitable for a Bronco and was a little disappointed in the performance till I feathered the clutch at about 15mph in first. 33x12.50-15s, stock 3 speed, 3.50 gears

Glad to here your up and running. That was quite a to-do list to tackle this close to the Stampede. You and Needabronco must work well under pressure. See ya in 2 weeks. Lets hope Arizona is all rained out by then!!
