My once trusty steed has met an untimely fate. Sold over a year ago locally and just found out that it will be hauling Broncos no more....I loved this truck and had made quite a few trips in it, Big Dogs, Wrench and Roast, Rausch creek, Super Celebration......oh well, once they leave there is no control  THANKS FOR letting me vent.....

Whoa. Hope the person or people are ok. That passenger side is demolished. And, it seems like the air bags didn't deploy, either.

Ouch! That looks particularly nasty, hope nobody was hurt. It does suck seeing a vehicle you loved get mangled by a new owner, but like you said, no control once its gone.

Look at the front body mount. The hole is elongated from the bolt pulling through, but the mount is not deformed badly. The body took the full brunt of the hit, the frame near the bumper (where the air bag sensors are) is not deformed. It may have never hit the acceleration threshold to deploy the bags.

Alternatively, since the tree looks like hit the body behind the front tire and missed the front bumper, the wiring for the bags might have been severed before they were commanded to deploy.
