@stout22 it is always a pleasure to spend time with you and your lovely bride. Was so happy when you said you could attend and spent the entire time with us, truly a special time. The place and vehicles are fun, the people make it priceless.

@Mikes Early Bronco any idea what video? Over heard a few comments from passers by, a few thought it was way over its head🤣
Haha. I’ll see if I can find it again. At the time I was just browsing through YouTube. I think I searched some videos regarding Broncos stampede and it popped up. I’ll see if I can track it down for you guys.

More from Flat Iron
That's my wife showing the guys how to wheel.
The funny thing is after she drove several of the other women decided that they needed to try a hand at off-roading.
Yeller spotted her up a line that everyone else was bypassing but after she went up they decided they didn't want to get shown up by a girl so they had Yeller spot them up.

Flat Iron was a lot of fun.
The Blue 84 struggled. He needed a deeper low gear and maybe a better transmission. You can see it boiling tranny fluid out in it's last picture.

What power-train combo is in the 84? I'd guess 351/C6, but I don't know about what t/c's those had. BW of one sort or other? Once I go the PSOM set right I've been really happy with the E4OD in our '96.

........
Yeller spotted her up a line that everyone else was bypassing but after she went up they decided they didn't want to get shown up by a girl so they had Yeller spot them up.
Mrs. ntsqd & I were up on a friend's ranch at a shooting party. Friend digs out his Barret bolt action in .50 BMG, lays out a tarp, sets it up on a bipod, and takes a shot. He missed the target @ 200 yards saying "yeah, I thought the scope was still set from the last comp I shot it in. Anyone else want to shoot it?" No one was taking him up on it. If you've been around one of those things you know why. All 5'3" 100 lbs of Mrs. ntsqd says "Sure!" She hit the target and cost my friend some .50 BMG ammo because......
The three of us sat back and quietly laughed at those guys who couldn't stand it.

Likely a NP208. Could possibly be a BW1356, but I don't think they were in those trucks that early.

It was a 351. He definitely wants to get it sorted and hit more trails.
He had already swapped in a D44 out of a 78.

I run metric 35's and 4.56's on Snowball, which is a 5.8L + E4OD + BW something or other. There's likely going to be a time when I want/need more gear, but I've not gotten there yet.
