Good thread guys! Great info . Are you removing the AC compressor ? If so do you just run a shorter serpentine belt ?

You *might* be able to use it - would require a twist at the thermostat housing to fit.

Late model 5.0s - Mustangs, Explorers, etc. use the 90 deg. housings. The Explorer ones are a little shorter for front dress clearance. I'd have to check in my parts box - I might have a decent used one if you're interested.

Duff makes an extended bracket for the lower radiator mounts, but it's for 2 inch body lift.
It would get you closer or maybe modify them or you could take the idea and make a three inch.

Interesting and have not seen this as an option, why do i want to lower my radiator? More interesting, can I build a 4 core that is 2 inches longer giving me more cooling?

The body is lifted which raises the radiator and fan shroud since they mount to the core support.

The engine is not raised so the fan is still where it was before, now three* inches low in relation to the radiator and the 'hole' in the fan shroud.

Lowering the radiator brings it back in line.

* or however high the body lift.

Sounds reasonable, anybody consider making a taller radiator to boot?

Updated the OP. After 3 trips to the parts store ended up with a 8750k6 (87 and 1/2 inches) serpentine belt (without A/C). Evidently the Driven 4x4 pulley is a different diameter.
