Pics of underside hood brace for clearance

Would appreciate some pics/ideas of how people have modified the underside brace/s for clearance. Not interested in an aftermarket fiberglass hood (have one currently that I want to replace) or hood scoops. I added some pics of how Shannon’s broncos modifies theirs for coyote engine clearance. My set-up will be a 351w, lightning lower, explorer gt40 upper, with a one inch body lift (not really interested in going any taller with the body lift) and explorer serp with WH Saginaw pump bracket (the one that mounts the pump really low and has the optional extra bracket above for a compressor). I’m going to be using the duffs/lick creek engine mounts that are the lowest mounts I’ve read about. To try to keep this thread on topic, I’m only interested specifically in seeing pics of stock style steel hood mods of the brace on the underside. I believe the highest point of contact on most with this set up is the most forward bolts on the intake but not sure on that. I know people have commented they have a nearly identical set-up to mine and had no clearance issues but I want to make these mods before paint to hopefully make it a non-issue. Thanks in advance.

We don't modify our hoods with the Coyote, and haven't had any issues even using the factory cover

Here is my "slightly" modified hood... lol
originally did it when running a carb and a tall air filter on my 351.
Later moved to fuel injection such as what you have.
I had an extra scrap hood that I stole the inner bracing and added to my hood...

I like this... Looks like you had to notch the front cross brace?

1/2 way to everywhere
No picture but my center brace is split in half front to rear between the cross braces and then each half moved to the side equal distance from the center of the hood and welded back to the cross braces. Not quite as far apart as sanndmann3 braces. But far enough to allow the Explorer GT40 intake.

My explorer intake fit with 1 inch body, don’t know how it compares
Height wise to carb and taller deck 351. My 4r70w dipstick was a problem though. Always thought the stock hood with 1 inch taller scoop would be perfect, but adding that 1 inch is a lot of sugar for a dime. If I had an original hood I might give it ago. No way I am cutting my OG hood.
