I own this 1976. I am curious would it be considered a Special Decor - 576 (Solid Exterior Color) 282 (with White Roof)
I have just the standar Marti.

Yes the Marti should say...."Delete Tape Treatment "
This is the Marti for my '74 Ranger. It has aged original paint I plan on keeping with no signs of ever having Ranger stripes. Marti doesn't say strip delete so if this one had them they were removed early in it's life. Should have Bronco on the road this summer and won't be adding the stripes.

Here is the 77 I just bought. The most unusual 77 I’ve ever seen.

Does not have the following:

Power Steering
Power Brakes
Dash Pad
Lighter
Radio
Headliner
Rear Seat
Hubcaps

That is unusual along with the options that were added.

There’s definitely some unusually low optioned ones out there. Same as almost all of the above (has dashpad), and minus a bunch of others....

Should have names for the different levels of “base model”, like Plain Jane, Slim Pickens and Bare Bones, lol.

Pretty cool that your 73 was originally sold thru a dealer in Gainesboro TN
That's about 15 miles from home

Thanks for sharing
Seems that one has made the rounds through the south east with lots of changes through the years. The guy I bought it from in Virginia said he got it in Georgia. I can still see some grabber blue underneath a few layers of different color paints.

The 76 on the other hand appears to have spent it's entire life in Virginia and was 100% original until 2 weeks ago when I swapped out the manifold and carb.

I received mine a few weeks ago. I don’t see anything to exciting. I did find it pretty cool that the bronco was originally sold at a dealership less than 100 miles from where I bought it from nearly 50 years later.

Special paint kinda fun.
It’s funny, original paint color is what I was trying to get from the report. I’ll have to climb up under the dash and see if I can find some original color.
