Pretty sure it's a typo. With it being an Explorer I'm 99% sure it would have had buckets up front. I don't think bench seats were available after '72 anyway.

Mine had a seat typo as well, seems that may be fairly common.

I knew for sure after the end of the half cab, but I don't recall ever seeing one in a 72 either. Dad's 72 U14 came with buckets.

72 had to be the year the buckets became standard now that I think about it a little more. I just finished writing about 72s and all the documentation said buckets were now standard that year.
