Just installed the WH shorty headers, good news is plenty of clearance at the frame and was able to slide in from the top even with the hydroboost plumbing. Now the problems, first I had to grind off the bracket for the dipstick tube for clearance, what options do I have for making it more solid. Perhaps a custom bracket that attaches to one of the header bolts? Secondly on the passenger side the plug wires come out almost directly into the header tubes, it appears a set of 90 degree plug wires would clear but would like to hear what others have done.

Thanks, Walt

I was able to bend the metal piece inside the boot to angle it just enough to clear the header tube. I have the accel 8.8mm wire set with high temp silicone boots. If you have silicone boots you should be fine as long as they aren't touching the pipe. A few of min sit like 1/8" away and they're still fine.

My DS tube has had the bracket cut off and been free standing for 10+ years so far with no problems

Thanks Don. I have been searching the Summit site but hadn't seen those wire holders. Looking forward to seeing your Bronco at the northeast get together. Saw it at Deepwoods Extreme last year but you've made a lot of changes since then.
