Potential mirror replacement help

So my 74 has the side mirrors you can see in the pic below and I really don't like the big mirrors at all. To me the smaller mirrors are cool looking and kinda go with the flow of the bronco lines. Is there any way, professional painter of any type, that can patch the holes these mirrors would leave and blend some paint close to match the original paint that's on it now?

I have the exact same problem on my 77'. I have the original mirrors that I would like to put back on. I'm going to check with a body shop to see what they think. Good Luck!

Not with single stage paint. Best you can do is paint the whole door as close to the rest of it as you can, but it's still going to look different. You can just put rubber plugs in the holes until you're ready to paint the whole truck.

I'd really not like to paint the whole truck as it's the original paint and still in great shape but I almost hate those big mirrors. Afraid I'm either going to have to live with them or repaint

I carefully removed a set and got a computer scan paint match in a 2 ounce touch up bottle. I actually filled the holes over with just paint (bubble across opening) then slowly built up the paint. At 5-10ft you could not even tell. I too was trying to keep the original paint, two years later still looks good.

Like AZ said"plug". I plugged the spare tire carrier hole with rubber plugs.
But I may use it again some day.
