power steering gear, inside or outside frame

Hi, dne' here,
I was wondering if the power steering gear goes on the inside or outside of the frame? Mine is on the outside. I don't know much about my steering gear other than the brief moment that I ran the engine to move the vehicle, the steering seemed too easy to steer even with the 33"s that were on it.
thanks,
dne' ;)

Stock box in the stock location. Every EB left the factory with the steering box on the outside of the frame - regardless of power or manual steering.

There are only one or two aftermarket setups that move the box to the inside of the frame. These are not very popular these days with all the other options out there.
