Power window kits:

Our 72' Bronco has a generic electric window kit from roughly 2010. I'm not that impressed with it. Weak motor that drives a cable and the motor limits the down travel. I've seen kits from Tom's and Wild Horses, but they seem to use the stock window crank to some degree. Anyone have a kit they've used or seen used that works well in our EB's?

I'm keeping wing windows.

I saw a post on Facebook a couple years ago where a guy modified the bronco window regulator to use Taurus electric motors. Looked pretty easy to me. I’ve been wanting to give it a try for mine but haven’t got around to it.

Make sure your window frame is not bent, and your seals are good. Do some window hand test runs up/down to make sure you don't have high friction areas
