Well time for a new chapter in my life. I have been building my 1966 project for 12 years. I came to the realization that I was more than likely never going to finish this. So it has been sold. Loaded the last part of it on a hauler this morning. It is now headed to its new home in California. The new owner is a member here. All the other parts have already made it there in a POD. I do not see myself owning another Early Bronco. I can't afford one already built, and I don't have the time to start a new project. I have met some incredible guys on this site. I still have my passion and love for these trucks. I thoroughly enjoyed creating and distributing the 50th Anniversary Badges. Without my project, I just don't see the point of staying on the site. My wife knows how hard this has been on me. I have talked about wanting go to Super Celebration for over a decade, but just never made it. Keep the passion guys. I still light up every time I see one on the road.....

Sincerely,

Scott Russell - BoureeOne........

I have two I have spent more time moving than working on. I still come here all the time. No need to run off, I bet we would all be surprised how many on this site are actually not driving one.

Either way, good luck and don’t forget us here.

Sold mine 3 years ago this coming October, and I too will never be able to afford another one.

BUT, I am still here reading and learning and throwing in my 2 cents occasionally. Don't come on here as often or stay on as long as before. Still pay up to be a contributor and buy my yearly calendars to help maintain the site.

Bouree (sorry, can't call you Scott 'cause I don't know you), I'm sure you still have lots to offer others from your experiences. Stick around.

Yeah, this is a great bunch, and it's because of the flavor we each bring. I hope you stick around, even as a lurker, and chime in every now and then. Good luck to you, whichever road you travel. Howard in beautiful West Michigan

Wishing you the best in where ever the road take you next in your journey...
Never rule out another bronco coming your way, it might happen.
But I feel what you have said, EB's are hard to get into these days, the parts are not getting any cheaper, and labor that you can't do yourself continues to go up.
Appreciate all the contributions you have made to the Site and Membership BoureeOne.

well the Bronco lives on. Go rent a new Bronco and go to super celebration you will be just as welcome. if you cant rent one go to the local ford and test drive one and then return after the celebration. Just kidding, we all come to these crossroads you makes your choice the fact that you didn't finish your project its not a failure you were taking care of other chores first and that may be just more important. Best wishes for your next adventure.
