Check out my new rear end! ;D

I ordered a roll pan from LMC for a 64-66 F150 for $130 shipped. Chopped off about 8 3/4" and made a few "modifications" to the remaining pan. Of course the frame horns had to be cut flush with the gas tank in order for everything to line up correctly. Welded in the sides for a smooth finish. Not too bad for an amateur welder.

Here's the link to the roll pan page.

Here's a few pictures of when the project started (pics 1 and 2). Picked up my 76 out of PA. The PO had done a substantial amount of engine work to the truck back in 95, then had the body prepped for paint, got married, had a family and ran out of money so it sat for 10 years until I got my hands on it. The PO also replaced the floors with 1/8" plate (pictured here after body work and Herculiner - pic 3). Not the prettiest but definitely not going to rust out either.

Second set of pictures are from my LUBER project (pics 4-6). I always liked the LUBER look but what started out as returning my Bronco to uncut quickly took a turn in the other direction. Here's the proof - FYI - 12.5" wide tires and 4.5" of lift will NOT work with uncut fenders.

Guess I'll have to get another Bronco for a LUBER project down the road.

So back to cut it went... to make myself feel better and not make this LUBR project I total loss, I shaved the side markers (pic 1) and added a 1" BL (pic 2) and the FORD lettering to the front and back.

New exhaust too...Two Cherry Bomb mufflers which dump out just before the rear tires (pic 4). They are 2.5" from the headers and 2.25" out from the mufflers. Sure beats the previous four muffler setup that the PO had installed (pic 3). %)

That does look real sweet. I wasnt to sure about it when you were talking about it, but very nice job!! Hopefully, the other pavement pounders will respect your space and not try to get frisky on your hot rear end. The clean sides also look good.
