.. Well I used my .. $102.00. E-Bay RADIATOR that we all bought.
I used my NP435 so I put my 4BT in and left all the trans in the exact same location . My 4bt does not even run a fan blade . So there is enough room. Now having said that My front cross member was cut out and tabs welded onto it and it was bolted back into place about 2 inches forward. This was so the motor would set down into the body and the hood would shut. I'm running a 3 inch chassis lift on the front and 2 inch blocks in the rear . This makes mine set level. I also have a 1 inch pucks on top of the factory pucks. So this makes about 1 1/2 inch body lift.
.. When I installed my 4BT I took this opportunity to install a new wiring harness. As I felt not much in the motor area would be reused. I'm running the 4BT chevy 22SI alt. My 4BT came with a Saginaw P/S pump. So I was able to use all my power steering.
.. I pulled my fuel tank and had it steamed out. Put a qt of trans fluid into it and added diesel fuel .. Put an electric fuel pump to push fuel up to the lift pump.
.. Ask anything your wondering about. As mine has been running for about 2 years now. It has been very dependable.
