Putting the front clip back together

Ok, I know I should have taken more pic's for reassembly but, I was excited and rushed through the disassembly. I'm putting the front clip back together with JBG's front clip hardware kit. There are 2 types of threaded fasteners- 1 is the basic clip on fastener that goes on the inner fenders and kick panels and the other is a nut tack welded in a clip on fastener. I'm not sure which areas get the nutted fastener- can anyone help here? It seems like this should still clip on to something but, there are a few spots with no room to clip on. One example is the front most bolt holding the fender on the inner fender.

TIA

Thanks 2bad. Just to make sure- I don't put the clip on anything... right? Do I just use it like a regular nut? Is this the fastener I should use on the front most fender bolt, mounting the fender to the inner fender?

Thanks.

I don't see your pictures but if it looks like a slide on clip with the nut welded on, it slides onto the grill edges. Your bolts go through the end on fender and into that clip.

Sorry for the confusion- I wasn't attaching a pic, just referring to the fastener. You're describing the right one and now I see how it goes on the grill.

Which fastener do I use for the front most bolt that holds the fender to the inner fender? The hole is too far from any of the edges to slide a clip on there. There's nothing else in the hardware kit besides these two types of clip on fasteners.

Thanks again!!

Use a fender bolt and put a washer and 5/16ths nut on the underside of that front fender bolt ( the one next to the hood bumper)
