I have a stock replacement radiator overflow tank but was looking for some other options. What are you guys using if not a stock setup? Pros and cons if any with your setup? Thanks

I went with the combo bottle- rad overflow and washer fluid. All pros for me…
I did this too and has performed well for many years.

Where did you all get this? Is it an aftermarket product for Bronco or is it another vehicle OEM that happens to work.? The slant for wheel well seems to work
It is a Ford product. I forget where I got it but my '92 Bronco had the same exact tank from the factory.

The tanks themselves were used on 87-96 Broncos and someone (maybe someone on here originally?) came up with the bracket to mount them nicely in EBs.

I think I was the guy that first discovered that the tanks might work for our trucks. I remember eyeing them in the junkyard in the mid-90s - told some folks about them on the EBML mailing list and they went from there.

Dorman 603-212 for the 87-97 F250. Just ordered mine on Amazon.

@toddz69 what's this bracket? I did a search here and got too many results. Do I need a bracket?

I thought Tom's used to sell it, but now I can't find it on their website anywhere.

Here's a thread from a bit ago that mentions it briefly - sounds like @JSmall made them. Maybe he made them for Tom's?

JBG lists them but doesn't list a bracket:

https://shop.broncograveyard.com/19...5oiyklfgSC8eyDtINm3vtSa9wCEu2KyoaAkGREALw_wcB

BCB doesn't show a bracket either:

https://bcbroncos.com/shop/cooling/...r-tank-combo-tank-only-for-early-ford-bronco/

I don't know if the bracket is needed or not, honestly. I never installed one on my truck.

Tom’s did carry the bracket. I had it in my cart “recently” but it was gone when I went to place the order. The link to the part doesn’t work anymore either. My guess was they were either out of stock or couldn’t source them. You can mount the bottle without the bracket though.

Well thanks @Oldtimer

I'm pretty sure that I can fab a bracket that looks like that. And thanks to @toddz69 for the reference to Toms's. Because that got me to their reservior page, and that got me to see the listing for the TWO different bottles used. So we get one colored bag in 66, then another colored bag in 67. Then the Mustang sloped bottle from 68 to 70. Then we get the 71-77 Bronco bottle with the vertical lower mount that requires a special dimple in the inner wheel house.

Which is why my 71+ windshield washer reservoir won't fit my 70 apron. And why most of the aftermarket wheelhouses are built wrong. Because there is a 66-70 with no dimple, a 71-73 with dimple, and then a 74-75 with PS shaft relief and dimple, and the 76-77 with the relief, dimple, and dent for the booster.

So watch out when you buy a 66-75 inner fender!
