I have a 4x4x2 gear box that I just drilled and tapped for ram assist. I found some pictures showing exactly where to drill the holes and got it all re-assembled. Which one of these ports gets hooked up to the left side of my PSC ram and which goes to the right side?

Just hook them up. I had mine hooked up incorrectly the first time. If the wheels don't turn and you feel resistance, hook them up the other way. Its a 50/50 unless you ask the vendor or look at their directions. Regardless, its not going to hurt anything hooking it but backwards. Enjoy your new effortless steering!

My experience was exactly what I was expecting and hooked it up wrong the first time. Trust me you'll know.

Left turn has pressure at the front of the box, right turn is pressure at the back.

So I should close my eyes and pick one, then hook it to the other one since everybody's first guess is wrong? I was hoping to avoid that.

I have started to reply to this thread a couple times, its not easy to explain. Do this, think about how the power steering box works. There is a piston inside that drives qa rack gear against the side of the sector shaft. That piston is driven by the pressure of the P/S fluid against it. This rotates the sector shaft and the pitman arm. If you understand this and you realize that the tube that you tapped in to on the side of the P/S box (your second picture) then you should be able to figure out which way your Bronco steers when pressure is applied to that tube. Once you think you have that figured out now you need to figure out which end of the ram you need to plumb that to in order to get it to move the same direction. Once you have one direction figured out there is a very good chance that the other direction will be right ;)

First picture, right turn
Second picture, left turn.

To figure it out, the second picture is the pressure line to the front piston.
When that piston pushes the worm gear it will cause the sector shaft teeth to move with it, toward the back of the vehicle. Then think which way that moves the pitman arm and pushes the tie rods and you have it.
