Using a single stage is typically ok except you can not use it if it already has binder in it. The summit paint does already binder in it. So, too much binder will weaken the color and chances are it will not be as vibrant as you want. We suggest a single stage urethane without any binders or a urethane base coat also without the binders in it. For the best color match results. Not saying the summit color won't work but it might not come out the color your looking for. I hope that helps. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
