has anyone done a re-cover or custom fabric for soft doors?

Im picking up a roadster, and don't need/want to run full doors or a top, but I don't want a black soft top, and I want the top to match the doors....

Seems like it should be easy enough for someplace that does auto or marine upholstery work. Especially if they have the old door fabric to use as a pattern.

One thing I would do first is make sure the soft doors you buy fit your door openings OK. Since you're recovering the frames anyway, now would be the time to make any adjustments.

I had to do modify one of my frames and re-sew part of the cover to fit my door opening.
