Reads 70 on the speedo, how fast am i going??

C4 in 3rd gear.. 32s with 3.5 gears....<br><br>How about when I go to 35in tires?

Just get someone to clock you in a car that has a speedo that really works, Thats what I did

302,c4,3.50,31's......I find that Im about 5 mi slower on the speedo (ex. 70 = 75)

Speedo and odo error will be the same. I checked mine against mile markers for about ten miles. It showed my speedo to be pretty close to 10% slow with my 31's. So I just mentaly add 10% til I get around to getting a speedo gear with 10% less teeth!

What does it mean when your speedo quickly goes back forth between 20 and 70 constantly, no matter what my speed is. I Cant figure out what the deal is.

You should cut the cable before the speedometer breaks.

Had that bouncing speedo thing in my Mustang, only it would hover at 5 till the cable loaded up then "SPROING" and hit the top peg...did this for about a week before the cable broke completely

With 32's at 65 mph = 2423 RPM and 35's at 65 MPH = 2215 thats just a ball park # good luck. 8) 8) 8) Bill 8) :

Ive buried my needle before, my guess was 120 something.... When I had my motor cycle, I went 135 on the freeway with my Girlfriend on back. We were racing a dude on a buell and his girlfriend ) That was fun. Did get the bike to 150+ by myself one nite ) Too fast for me, so i sold it and got my bronc lol

Hes running 35s, Im running 32s, so i figure about 2mph his or so.
