I’ll try to explain as best as a can and apologize in advance if I’m using the wrong terms (pics to assist).
There is a gap between the axle retainer and the axle housing (pic1) where the bearing (Timken 514003) sticks out approx .125” beyond the bearing recess (pic2).
The recess depth is .7” (pic3/4) and the bearing width is .825 (pic5). The measurements are the same on both sides.
Is this normal? If not, how do I correct it?
