Wife was following me and told me the rear drivers side tire was wobleing. When i got home i didnt feel any excessive heat by touching the rim. Is this caused by bad wheel bearings, or maybe just the tire being out of balance? tire is a 35 x 14.50 Swamper Bogger on a 15 x 10 inch rim.

thanks,

could also be a broken belt in the tire.

jack it up and spin the tire and watch to see where the wobble is comming from.
tire only --> damaged tire
rim and tire --> bent rim
drum(lugnut area of rim) --> bent axel

I jacked it up and can wobble if i watch the back of the brake drum agianst the drum itself, so i guess this is a bent axle shaft for sure??

I would take the wheel off, then the brake drum and see if you can see the wobble in the flange where the wheel studs are ( what ever its called ) on the axle . As long as you dont have a posi in it, leave one rear tire on the ground, block the wheels , fire it up and put it in gear, and check it out. Just dont step on the brakes if the drum is off. you might blow out the wheel cylinder. just shut off engine to stop it. or switch the suspect side wheel with one from the good side and see if the wobble is over there now.

Before you go to all this trouble you might just want to wash your tire real good and then have her follow you again. Tires with dirt on them unevenly can look like they wobble like crazy when actually they aren't.

Perfict excuse to upgrade to 31 spline axles, wife seen it bent, gotta fix it, and then you got to get a new 31 spline carrer, might as well make it a locker.

maybe the lug nuts where not centered, or set it on stands and put it in gear.
watch the wheel spin. how is the tire wear, rotate the wheel with the front one.

My buddy broke a rear axle in Moab last week. Let me tell you that made the tire wobble on the way back to camp. It broke right at the splines.

My money is on a bent axle shaft or flange. I got hit in the rear drivers side once by a lady who ran a stop sign. Hit me so hard it broke my wheel in half. I got the spare on and drove it home about 300 miles. The wheel wobbled so bad on the bent flange that it destroyed my spare in that 300 miles. I even got pulled over by a cop who thought my wheel was about to fall off.
