Recovery gear(snatch blocks, tree huggers, shackles Etc) for synthetic line?

You use one to attatch the strap to the bumber, one more to connect 2 straps together,

Casey, using a shackle to connect two straps together is a dangerous thing to do. You may as well use straps with hooks. Should either one of the straps fail that shackle will take off in the direction of whichever strap did not fail. They have gone through hoods, people and the seat they where in.
If this is the only way to effect a rescue tie a blanket to the shackle it will act as a parachute and slow it down.
The better and safer way to attach two straps together is to loop the eyes with a stick or newspaper inside the loops so you can get them apart.

I see your point Marty, I never really thought it was the safest way, but it's easier than the 2 straps aparts, I have to admit I never thought to put a stick or something in between the 2 to help get them apart later on. Good safety tip...
