Removing Brightwork around windows

Already removed the trim around the door windows (what an exercise in patience), now I want to know if I can remove the trim on the rubber seals around the rest of the windows. Something that can be done, or do I need to just buy new seals that don't use the aluminum trim?

Dan, generally that type of trim is inserted into the rubber prior to roping the glass into the top. The trim is very tightly held when the rubber is seated. You *might* be able to pull the trim out with the glass in place, but you would almost certainly destroy the trim, and the rubber seals might not fit as snugly as they should with an empty groove. I'd say you will need to pull the glass and replace the rubber with groove-less.
