removing grill trim

Any good ways to get the trim off? Those little clips just seem to turn inside without ever coming off.

You will prob have to cut them off and replace with new, I had to do that with a few.

Same here and if the grill is on the truck it helps to have a little neighbor girl with small hands help you get the trim off. :)

Over half of mine just spun, not a good design with plastic over the metal there, of course 30 years of bugs and corrosion doesnt help either. I got one of those tiny 1/4 pivot head ratchets on the counter at napa, worked pretty well for the ones that came off, the others I just had to break (vice grips twisting side to side).
