Curious if anyone bought these fenders and just bolted them on. They are from Toms Bronco’s, not DC, and are from Taiwan. I had to drill out spot welds on door bracket and move it in, the bracket along the top seems like it’s to high and needs to be lowered, and they sit off the core support almost an inch. I don’t even know where to start on that problem.

So I got the early repops, and my friend (aka - the body man) ended up splicing in triangle wedges to mate the fender to the grille. After a lot of cussing that fixed that. But there's about 3/4" gap to make the hood latch mechanism work. Curious how others made it work. But in particular the early repops were notorious for fitment issues. My understanding the newer ones (I think identified by NOT having the three holes for the fender logo) are better.

These don’t have any holes or side marker holes in them, any pics of mods he did.

fenders

I have not found any fenders that don't have to be modified for a "show quality" truck

These fenders are 4 pieces all welded together. The parts are good the jig being used is the issue. Your front clip might be sagging as well.

I spent 8 hours per side fixing mine. I took out SEVERAL of the spot welds and that allowed the fender to fit properly. I then welded it all back up. They came out perfect and mate up to the OEM grill better than the OEM's did.

I think the fronts are now being offered "unwelded" so you can more easily get the fitment right.

Mine were from DC and were "Blue Oval Industries" Brand.

I have DC ones and will have to reweld the bracket at the door, the other places seem to line up fine.

Those gaps are stupid good. I’ll take pics what my buddy (aka body man) did and you’ll see the hood gaps nowhere like Timmy390.

I haven’t put the hood on yet, kinda scared to but here is what the gaps were like with old fenders.

Hard to see it since it's way up by the support, but you'll see a thin weld line. It's actually a triangle in shape from top to bottom. My hood gaps... not great. I didn't snap the lathing mechanism yet!
