You can afford to invest some serious cash in a Bronco. So here we are approaching the end of May, and you are focused on getting one by mid-June. My question is: what is your rush?

I spent over a year looking for the right bronco. I purchased one from a private party and, after experiencing an engine fire, I found out that one of the previous owners spent a lot of time and money hiding rust and accident damage. What with upgrades I did before the fire, and the repairs, body work, and upgrades I'm doing now, I'm spending A LOT more than I bought the bronco for in the first place.

My recommendations: (1) take your time; (2) find a Bronco that provides a solid foundation (i.e. not a lip-stick on a pig Bronco), and recruit a Bronco brother to look it over with you; (3) have a shop build the Bronco to match your preferences for color, seats, stereo, etc.

If you rush to find your Bronco, you may end up feeling pressured to make a deal even when you're gut is telling you that something doesn't feel right. If you're wanting to have this Bronco for many years to come, if not the rest of your life, why not take your time to do it right? I bought a Bronco that looked great to me, and had custom interior, etc, but it was someone else's vision, so even though it was "finished," I'm spending a lot of money making it my own. Wish I would have just started from a solid foundation and built it to my own specs. Just my .02. Best of luck to you on your search!
