Has anybody bought the front rubber floor covering from JBG or TBP? Are they exact replicas of the original with the same grain? I have a couple cracks in my front one and I want it to match my rear and stay original

It is not as thick as the original....otherwise it appears to be the same. I was happy with mine.

Hmm, Ford never made a rear mat to match the standard black front mat.
What are you trying to match?

First pic is the rear section under the back seat. Second pic is of the front section I need. I want the grain to match.

I dont know how it compares to the original. But I can say I am extremely happy with mine. I get a lot of comments about how it looks.

My parchment mats were in great shape except some bad splits and tears around the hump under the dash. I used the new mat to cover that front section and left the rest. Despite what might come to mind, it actually looks really good. The picture shows the two textures side by side. They are different, but I don't think it looks bad. The thickness is really not an issue, this is good quality stuff. Very happy with the product. I think that WH and CJ had free shipping on this items recently.

There is no way I would remove the original one you have 302, unless it is extremely bad...just a crack or two... That's patina!

The style that you have is not reproduced yet.....maybe someday.. The style that is reproduced is the earlier style mat... You have a beautiful Bronco, by the way...

Thanks for the advice and the compliment. It has a couple cracks around the fuel valve and a crack by the t-case. Nothing too bad but I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I only wanted to buy one if it was exact. And my eyes don’t work too well looking at these things on my phone.

Thanks House and Fordfan. I won’t order one. I may just get some black gorilla tape and tape it from the bottom side. Or do nothing at all.

I have the one from JBG in my wife's 66. I had to do some trimming on it to make it fit. Could be from poor fitment of sheetmetal from the PO, not sure, and it wasn't bad, but I did have to cut it up a bit.
