I am debating running a hydraulic ram-assisted steering setup and was wondering if the Saginaw (canned ham) pump is stout enough to run all 3 systems.... Any advice, ideas, or concearns....?

If you are going to upgrade everything else, why skimp on the pump? I would upgrade the saginaw, there is a company that rebuilds your stock pump for better flow/performance, but I cannot remember the name right now. Anybody else???

You can send your box into any of the hydraulic guys like Rock Ram, PSC, Redneckram etc. They rebuild your box, port it and up the pressure on the pump. You can buy all the stuff from them or supply it yourself. If you need links I can send tomorrow.

I hope it will hold up I plan on adding hydro boost brakes to my truck soon. I allready have all the parts just have not installed them yet. I am allready running the ram assist. I upgraded to saginaw pump from a 74 Mark V, but I also added a 19,000lb GVW B&M trans cooler to my power steering setup and extended the filler neck a few inches on my pump.
I know it does not answer your question but I think there are a few ppl on here that are running all 3 from there pump, but I am sure it will be a Sag. pump.
