I replaced the seal that goes between the hinge on my windshield and it still leaks...has anyone just used silicone with or without the seal ?

I just replaced the seal with a new aftermarket one - JBG, I think. No sealant. Hasn't leaked at all.

Replaced the seized up hinge at the same time. Maybe a tight new hinge helps too.

I think mine is leaking too. I get water running down both kick panels. Think it's the hinge....

that's a pretty thorough sealing job there Steve. Is that Frank's Bronco, or some other lucky leaker?

Did it eventually stop leaking after filling every nook and cranny? Did you also have to fill the voids in the hard top where the individual panels come together near the corners? Not sure all tops have them open, but all that I've seen could have used some filler or sealant to close off that junction.
