I am going to SEMA this year and was wondering if anyone else is taking the trip?

Vendors or members? I will be taking tons of pictures as usual and hopefully I will see some EBs there.

If your not going and there is something in particular you might want to see, let me know and I will try to check it out.

I was hoping to go but the website says it isn't open to the general public.

If there is indeed an all steel replacement body for the EB I want to know everything there is to know.

thanks in advance

I am going. Some years it was a company paid business trip, other years it is an "un-reimbursed business expense" tax write off. This year it will be another tax write off trip.

Here are a couple pics of driving down the ramp and out of the show back in '07. I had to drive it home after the show. Nice little company ride; V8 swap, Atlas, locked both ends, sway bar disconnect, etc.

I am hoping for a Bronco replacment body as well. I know where there is a '66 roadster in really poor shape that with a new body might just become the next project.

Still don't have the dates yet. Usually make it for 2½ days of show.

I'll be there Wed-Thur, I hope that will give me enough time. Last year I was there 3 days but had to spend 2 in the booth "Working".

Me and a few other of my Bronco buddies will be flying into LV that week for a function that weekend, so a few of us are planning on going to SEMA. A couple of our group have been regulars in the past. I want to spend at least a whole day, if not two before we head out of town for our get together that weekend.

I am going, I think our plan is Wed-Saturday. Its fun on Friday to sit on the strip and watch the cars cruise down. We usually hit Jimmy Buffets outdoor deck.

I can tell you it is as much fun driving down the strip with all the cars coming out of the show as it is to sit and watch them. Yes, I have drag raced a Ferrai with no liscense plate down the strip after SEMA. I did very well up to 30 MPH then we both had to get out of it as the traffic was a little too heavy for anything more.

One of my Friday hang out is the parking garage by the Hilton. Much better view looking down on all the cars then across at them.

If you can't get into the show and you plan to be there that weekend after anyways, get there Friday, find a spot by 3PM. Then watch everything you never thought could exist get driven all over the strip. Truely anything goes, it just needs to be able to idle a little bit in traffic. Full tilt race machines that never had a VIN and never a chance of having a liscense plate (or registration or insurance) are directed down city street by cops who wave them through.

My badge came in the mail sometime over the weekend. I'll probably be there Wednesday and Thursday this year.

It's my understanding that Dynacorn was hoping to debut their early Bronco bodies at this years Sema show. I'll try to get more info and post it if I do.

I have gone for quite a few years now, but have always had to work while there, so haven't been able to see everything that I wanted to. But this year I get to let others run the booth and do a little sight seeing.

I will look for the Dynacorn body, and see if I can take some shots of some other beautiful bodies too. ;)

A bunch of us from our local Mustang club, Mustangs of East Texas, are going to escort our Pay-It-Forward '66 Mustang convertible that we built to SEMA where it will be displayed in Scott Drake's booth. This is my first time at SEMA and I'm really excited about it.

I'll be going on Thursday and Friday. Two days are usually plenty for me.
It would be great to meet up with more Bronco freaks.

I just submitted my registration and booked a hotel near the convention center, so I should be on for being there for a day or two before some friends and I head outside of town that weekend for some other fun in the desert.
