Sending unit OHMs

The ges tank in my 67 project had gas left there sence 1990. Rather than trying to clean it I replaced and installed it with a new sending unit. Now I have purchased a gauge set and it came with a feul sending unit that needs to be installed in the top of the tank. If by chance both sending units used the same resistance for their gauges it would save me a lot of work removing the tank, cutting a new hole and replacing the sending unit. I can measure the resistance on the gauge set sending unit but I can not read the resistance from full to empty on the installed Bronco tank.
Does some one know what the resistance is from full to empty on the Bronco sending unit?

Check before installing the tank.

Be advised new doesn't always mean it works properly for any parts. Body parts may need a little help as well.
