The new Challengers are getting them again so that creates another avenue for OEM parts.

Been trying also, too bad the motor in Bronco's is offset to the passenger side 1.5" - 2". Would have put an old Stang shaker on it for sure. There are offset air cleaner bottoms made for distributor clearance, I might take a look at that rout.

Biggest problems are that the engine isn't centered in the engine bay. It is offset toward the passenger side. So a centered air cleaner on the engine would look really goofy offcenter on the hood. Center it on the hood and it would look weird offset on the engine. Getting the installed height right is a pain.
And they are really freaking expensive.

If I were to ever cut another hole in a Bronco hood, it would be for a shaker. But there is a lot more back work needed to get the engine centered in the engine bay so it would all look right.

I have one that I've toyed with doing. My dilemma is I'm planning efi. I put one one my wife's 07 gt when we bought it new and love it. Planning one for my 69 mach too so it makes complete sense for the EB to have one also.

DO IT!!! DO IT!!!

On a side note, did they really have to do that to the Challenger? That is over the top awesome. Just not in my budget. Ever. :(

friend of mine had a 71 Torino in HS in 1981

his 351 CJ didnt run too well on the crappy gas

used to run on after you cut it off,

one night he shuts it off and it starts knocking run on,
I said "I wonder what would happen if you mashed gas?"

when an engine is "running on" its actually turning backwards, or his was anyway, he mashes the gas pedal to the floor, then switches the ignition back on,

whoom!

instant flame thrower out the shaker scoop.

melted the paint on the hood !
