haha! Great story. And a great find of another Bronco owner nearby too.
All in all, not a bad day.

Those look really good, nice work on filling what appears to be a need in the hobby. Looking forward to seeing a set installed.
I'll have to measure how far the set I have opens. I don't believe it's any where near 16 inches.

I like the multi options in post #16.

Still wait to see inside/outside of completed prototype.
Will not B an 'early adopter' (never am) but will cont to follow.

Might even C if it can go in my 'back window' of the 1/2 cab.
40 yrs of ownership this fall'n never researched/found a Toy or
other mini p/u for that spot.

Here they are.. I've decided I'm not going to ship these fully assembled because of "bulk shipping" cost, weight (26 lbs) and thinking about glass panes on the bottom of a FED-EX truck, and many want different options, Sooo I'm selling as a Kit. Kit includes unassembled frames for right and left sides, (assembles with machine screws included) You can then opt to TIG them together, or do as I did, use SEM 39747 Panel adhesive. Flocked channel run for slider section, gasket for fixed glass section, half-round flocking for seal between fixed and sliding glass, and two slider lock/latches. These are designed to fit into your original rubber glass gaskets on the cap. It's about a 50 - 50 ratio of you want 3/16" tinted or clear glass so you supply what you want.. Kit is $800.

Hi Rusty, Shipping and Templates are included..... you can use you original gaskets for this application. Shipping glass,....not a good option, Sourcing a local shop is alot safer....

Boy I understand about shipping glass. How much did the 4 panes of glass run you? I assume tempered glass did you have to pay extra to have them DOT etched? I know prices will be all over the place depending on where you live. are these black anodized or painted Black?

it was over $200 for the laminated glass, looking into tempered, Could not anodize (another cost out of control) use Rustolium satin black, very durable and easy touch-up and any time...

just like my windshield, it's straight glass. I went to local guy & got scrap (store front glass -
lami). At the initial offered there is no way I could afford unless going this route. For me the
ugly ones, 1/2 priced to this, would bea strong consideration and show up (due to this) alot quicker.

While I appreciate the work put into these and I imagine they are well done. I just don't see $800 happening for me. Especially since I would pay for glass locally, they are not powder coated or coated in any, and I must assemble them as well.
