Sniper Cheat Codes and Tips?

I decided to go Sniper (or Aces) on my build. I’m going to install a ln online high pressure fuel pump with pre-filer then a regulating post-pump filter with return.

AN-6 fuel line and fitting all around.

Questions….

Does the Sniper (or Aces) have a return on the unit? In other words - do I have to run a return back to the tank from the FI unit?

Using a Centech harness. Anything crazy? Scary? Complicated?

Planning to add a return fitting to my stock steel tank. Any advice on location or how to minimize aerating fuel in the tank? (Blowing bubbles which reduces ability for pump to pull fuel)

Anything else I need to know?

We’ve had the aeration discussion before, but I don’t remember all the pros and cons to different positions.
But in reality, does it matter at most times and under most conditions?
If you have an in-tank pump, it’s picking up fuel from the bottom through a sock filter. If you have an in-line pump, you still have a pick up tube that is literally sucking from near the bottom of the tank.
If the air bubbles are introduced at the top of the tank, the bubbles are automatically gonna float to the top of the tank or just stay there. Not affecting the pick up whatsoever until the fuel gets very low.
To that end, keep the inlet for the return line in some other part of the tank. Away from the pickup area.
Near the bottom of the tank would seem to be best, but I don’t know how critical that is. Stock tanks don’t have many, or any baffles if I remember. But a tank with baffles would be easier to control an issues I would think.

Or, as many do, introduce the return fuel into the filler neck. With a stock tank, of 70 or later design, you have an extra vapor port on the side.
You could use one of them for return line.

A lot of throttlebody systems include a return report on the throttlebody itself. I don’t remember about either of those, but you could probably find out quickly of their instructions.

Should be fine and have plenty of wires to choose from. Or you can add your own auxiliary fuse panel to multiply the circuits.
You can take one of the green wires and run it up to the pump, but I might choose to use it to trigger a relay. I like always getting plenty of power to the pump.

For Sniper, You will need a return fuel line and it's probably the same for Aces. I added it like this, using fuel hose back into the tank rather than the little plastic tube that comes with the kit. Mine is a Sniper 1, and if you go with Sniper, you will need to find someone to laptop tune it if you're not capable of doing it yourself. You will also need to follow the instructions carefully for the O2 bung. If it's not within the parameters, you'll burn through the sensors which was not convenient or inexpensive. My first placement was a little off so I learned the hard way. Also, you'll notice the fuel line routing says no 90 degree bends, so I mounted my inline pump at a 45 at the back corner of the frame on a bracket even with the lowest portion of the fuel tank.

What I did was use the stock pickup as the return. This put the return fuel at the bottom of the tank. Made my own pickup with a hydramat on it so it doesn't have low fuel starvation issues.
