Snow plow front frame mount?

I am wondering where the snow plow mounts to the frame near the front bumper does it go under or over the bumper mounts, is it mounted in the long oval hole, or is it mounted with the 2 holes on the inside?

I am only familiar with the Meyer brand of plow. I would assume it goes under the bumper.
Do you have the rest of the plow?
Do you know what brand is it?

That's from a Western Plow. I've got that plow that was on my 66 when I got it. The bracket in your pic has a bar that goes down to the bottom of the main plow bracket. It bolts to the main bracket just behind where the plow mounts & pivots on the big pins. Unfortunately my brackets are in storage somewhere so it may be a while before I could take pics of them.

@Bajabrewer
Thank you for those last pictures. The answered another question on how far down the Frame mount goes.
It looks like it's aligning to the center of the axle or locking hub :) (y)

I can see on your smile that, that tree stump has cost quite a bit of fight 😅
Well the way it was kinda running when I got it it wasn't a sure thing it was going to dominate that stump.:oops:

My plan is to make a winch mount that will use the frame brackets to help spread out the load & still be able to mount & use the plow in the winter

I have more questions than answers.
Don't know if you have it sorted out. Here are a couple of a bronco frame I have. If not you, maybe they will help someone else. I have know idea who's plow was mounted. I'm guessing Western, that is just a guess.

Thank you all 🙏
I managed to build the plow mount and bought a strong plow for it.
So far it does good but we have not had much snow here in Iceland 😅 Only 2 snow days so far

The plow is a German Adler built for mini tractors so it's tough. I need to add wings to it.

My old 1966 with the plow. It surprised me, how good it was with only a 170 engine.
