Can not think of the front axle and the rear axle as separate systems. What happens at one axle effects the other axle. Have to think of, and work with both axles as a whole system.

I would buy all of the springs and possibly the shocks too, from a Bronco specific vendor rather one of the big brand suspension lift companies. A Bronco vendor has a better idea of what works best on a Bronco. They also can respond faster to new innovations and market trends, so their products are going to better than products from a big company.
My own loyalty, which they have earned, is to Wild Horses. Their progressive rate front springs have set the high water mark for Bronco specific front springs and their work with Deaver Spring redefined Bronco rear springs.
In full agreement with Tom, I have been successful over the years piecing parts together. However, it's usually easiest and best by buying a kit from one of the vendors. I am a fan of Wildhorses as well and usually my go to, but Duffs, Toms etc also have good kits that work together.
Currently, I think I have wildhorses coils on the front which will stay and an older leaf set from BCB which are 9 packs and road good but they have started to droop and I am going back to a hardtop so I will need something with good manners and can carry some weight, so likely back to Wildhorses 11 leafs at some point.

I don't think a magic bullet exists but many very knowledgeable Bronco owners on this forum have provided the best advice which is to rely on Bronco vendors who specialize in quality parts for early Broncos and which are used by most early Bronco owners. Early Bronco parts probably account for a minute fraction of Skyjacker business which is why I can't recall any one talking about there products at least on this forum.
You have a horrible ride because your original springs and at least back? shocks are old/original and we now see you have 2" blocks and shock extensions which may not affect the ride but from what I have read about blocks they are not desirable and undoubtedly were installed because the old springs sagged. Even if the Skyjacker shocks you have were the correct Skyjacker part number for an early Bronco I believe that shocks are engineered to work with springs etc that are within manufacturer's specs as in not worn out/sagging.
As stated previously a set of progressive springs and good shocks could not do anything but improve your ride.
Since you want a pleasant ride for your mostly on road use at least a couple of shock manufactures will tune a set of shocks to your requirements. Get new quality tires if yours are old.

I can't add much to what was already posted but, I'd like to say the Wildhorse's springs and Bilstein shocks transformed the way my Bronco rides. I had the old-school Duff's front springs and shocks and stock leafs.

I installed the sky tracker progressive springs, still waiting for the Bilstien 5100's. The springs are far less ridgid for sure.

So in my quest for a smoother softer ride here are the parts i settled on. Front 2" lift Skyjacker progressive springs, Bilstien 5100 shocks. Rear leafs are a 10 pack 2" lift soft ride from Toms, with Skyjacker shocks and a 1" shock extension.

Did you add this statement to your other thread as well, where we were discussing that? That would be an appropriate place to put the update.
Not to mention how you like it once you get that installed!

Grey owl at the header on this page, click on the tab called watched. This will show threads you have created or participated in. You will find your old one there easily and can add to information to it like DirtDonk mentioned. Makes it way handier to look up and keep up with the information on a given topic or for some of just ramblings :)

@Grey owl , I merged your 2 threads as mentioned above. If you didn't want that for some reason, just let me know and I can change it back. But it seemed to make sense.
