Source for OEM locking hubs?

My Google-fu must be failing me. I could have sworn I have seen replacement OEM lockout hubs for my 77, but I just can't find them anywhere. Mine still work but chewed up almost beyond recognition and I am trying to pretty up my rig a bit. Anyone know where I can find replacements?

If I'm not mistaken, the OEM hubs that came on the Bronco from the factory were made by Dana/Spicer. Maybe that will help in your search. Good luck

Online it looked like just the center red plastic that is still carried- not the whole assembly. Those OEM ones go for a pretty penny on ebay. Will have to keep hunting...

I was able to get a good pair of hubs on ebey by searching " dana locking hubs". Mine are from a Chevy 4x4 pickup. They are the same except for the blue knob.

Not to hijack but are the stock hubs pretty good compared to the mile marker/warn hubs? I saw that JBG has the new center knobs so rebuilding them for a street rig could be a good thing...

Thanks. I'll work on that this weekend. I hear those blue knobs are totally impossible to find now. Probably make a Chevy guy happy if you swapped them up for red.

I don't trail my rig hard but I have heard a number of times the OEM ones hold up better than the new Warn premium ones. No idea about the MM. I am trying to keep mine mostly stock looking from 10 feet away so haven't done too much research on them though.

I may sell the blue knobs since I still have the red ones and new red knobs are cheap and available. As for strength, I doubt you'll find anything stronger. Some of the after market hubs have aluminum internals. So get Warns for the street and the Dana-Spicers for more extreme use. If you can get a set of Danas for parts it's a good idea. New ones aren't being made.

I'm wanting to do a disk upgrade and am looking at the ford stuff. If I get that I will rebuild the ones I have as I am partial to the look of the red knob myself.

There seems to be a fair number of '76-'77 steering knuckles out there but the '78-'79 Bronco and F150 4x4 knuckles are more common. Some modifications need to done, but I can't remember what they were.
