Speedo Needle

Is the speedo needle supposed to have any bend in it or is it supposed to be straight (flat)? Mine seems to bow a bit....

I'm pretty sure the slight bow is normal. Both of mine seem to have it too.

I've probably looked at nearly two dozen or so clusters and all the ones that I remember paying any attention to seemed to have a slight curve to the needle. Doc

thanks for the responses....now I need to remove and paint with some floresent orange.

Anyone know how I can locate a new needle for my speedo???
