I had my gauge cluster rebuilt and the speedometer still did not work properly. Needle just floats randomly. Ordered a new cable. It was longer than the cable on the Bronco. I installed and now I have a clicking sound from the speedometer. Is the longer length okay and what causes the clicking? thanks

Longer lenght shouldnt bother it. Might want to make sure the drive cable is actually long enough to reach the speedo head. Clicking might be from not being fully enguaged.
