Start of CAD frame...

With my current position I am not on the "tube" anymore...
So I thought I would tinker... I wanted to learn how to utilize images and or drawings to assist in creating cad geometry. Eventually I will start a Bronco "rod project" so I plan to work the rear suspension up in cad to make sure everything fits well. (narrowed rear end dimensions, wheel back spacing, widest tires that will tuck under uncut rear fenders, etc.)
I am looking to scale up and tweak some dimensions... I will have the critical geometry close so that the dimensions are valid. As for now just playing.

I have alread created some geomtery a while ago that I will add.(drawing 2)

I thought I would share a few pics...Since it is pretty cool stuff

With your former position you WERE on the "tube"?

Nice drawings!

Yea the drawings are floating around on this site...I brought them in to overlay and create a sketch, to generate the 3d model from.

I will go back and update the sketch to actual dimensionss to update to actual size.

Old position.. I generated tool designs, which were used to create NC cutterpath for prototype tooling. (a long time ago)
We did not utilize parametric models... So I wanted to experiment.
