I am going to finally start building my bumper. At one time I had searched the forum and found one I really liked and it also had a material list. I cannot find the thread anymore. Does anyone that has built one of these bumpers have pics and a rough idea of what materials are needed to start with? Here is one that I am going to try and copy.

Thanks.

after reading your post... I decided to design my own... see my build thread.

Prolly not exactly what you need but it's another idea in the same line as the link above.

Might check with dusty, after reading that thread it looks like he has or at least at onetime had some diagrams.

Do search under my name. I made a clone. 3/16 is more than sufficient. Width depends on whether you want to stick a winch in it or not.....

You definitely have fab skills. That is the best I've seen yet.

Did you build a matching rear bumper?

Thanks.

I did finally get the rear bumper done this past spring. I built it to protect the rear corners and support the spare tire carrier. I matched it to my 3" body lift, so it looks a little "bulkier" than I'd like, but other than that I'm pretty happy with it. I've drug it over the rocks and dropped down on it pretty hard a few times and it's held up really well. I was in a hurry to get it done before the Moab Bronco Safari last spring so I never got around to posting any pictures of it. This winter I want to weld a receiver hitch into it.
