Steering Stabilizer Frame Mount

I'm mounting up the steering stabilizer and running into a couple of questions.

In comparing the illustration from WH to what mine looks like, it seems that the illustration has the mount much farther to the passenger side of the crossmember (see pic). Should I drill new holes to get it farther over?

I'm still waiting on my new steering box from Van @ Tumblin so I can't test fit everything just yet. I've looked at other images and mine looks similar, but this illustration is just throwing me off.

Will probably need to move it. Wait until the rest of the parts are in. Get it wrong and it will limit steering (bottom or top out first).

Hi, I would guess the sweet spot is at 1/2 of travel when the steering box is centered. Save it for later when you are at ride height. Good luck

Just went through this. Mine needed to go further towards the passenger side as you indicated. I put it in the location where the pre drilled / previously drilled holes were. You can check your steering turns and adjust from there. I then moved it over to the previously drilled hole closest to the passenger side and and tried it there before I started guessing / adjusting.

Definitely wait until it's all together.
Were those the factory holes, or did you have to drill your own? Although all EB's should have had them from the factory, we've seen a few that did not have holes in the crossmember, so wondering about yours.

If original, was there a stabilizer and brackets already existing?

Sorry, meant to add that the reason I asked about them, is because the hole locations look legit to me.
I did not go out and measure mine, but yours don't look that much farther in than most from memory.

Maybe someone can get a measurement of theirs from the frame rail?
