I have owned this Bronco since 1988, I am the third owner. It was a stock uncut 1974 Ranger model in blue that went through a quart of oil every 70 miles when I bought it from my cousin for $3,000 (my Dad chewed me out for paying too much). Someday, I will post the story of this Bronco and its history. This past winter, the broken frame at the power steering box was repaired, as well as other maintenance work done. Many memories from my kids in car seats to them driving it. I have some more adventures planned. As you can see it has been modified since I have owned it. I have never trailered it and have driven it all over the country more then once, it has approximately 300,000 miles on it. Places that it has four wheeled include Fordyce Creek, Tellico, Moab, Gore Virginia, Colorado, several Death Valley canyons, many places in Oregon, and parts of the Dusy Ersheim trail. It is not perfect, but that is what makes it fun, I like driving a piece of art that goes most anywhere. The modifications started when I built the 351W engine in my apartment while attending grad school, never worked on cars before. To put things into perspective, I was 28 when I bought it, and now I am 61. Go drive and enjoy your Bronco...

So glad you decided to keep your Bronco so you could continue enjoying and creating memories. You’re right - life is short, and a whole lot better with a Bronco to take you on its journey;D

Great story. And to think I was all proud of approaching 2,000 miles on mine after putting it together!
